The Finglas Youth Resource Centre is a mainstream youth service that work in the catchment area of Finglas and surrounding borders, we work with young people from the age of 10-24 years of age. The majority of our work is specifically targeted and would entail working with the most at risk and marginalized young people in our community. We are dedicated to creating a safe environment and challenging negative behaviors and cycles, meeting basic needs and supporting young people through different stages of their lives. The methodologies we practice are social learning, personal development and non-formal learning. Our aim is to empower young people by providing them with opportunities to learn, grow and to become positive active citizens in their own community.
