Overview

The organisation of a film festival is a demanding process which requires management skills in all of its constituent fields: communication, human resources, public relations, finance and many others. Organisers of film festivals need specific management skills and new knowledge to be able to face new industry trends. The mission of the FFD Conference is to bring up new learning and networking programs which will allow the participants to acquire the optimal skill set to be able to follow the industry trends, certainly, but also to come to know personally their colleagues in many countries and to lay the foundation of future international collaboration. We have divided this year's Conference into 5 segments which will unfold over the two days of the Conference. It is up to you to choose which fields you wish to study: the development of a targeted market, festival collaboration and local communities, project announcements, visual communications, new technologies or creative team management.
