Overview

In Scandinavian culture, "Fika" is a concept that means to take a break. At Fika Mental Health we want you to take a break for yourself and your wellbeing. We seek to provide a high standard of therapy and can help you work through general life stressors, self-esteem, mood difficulties, relational and attachment issues, grief, and more. We are allies to the 2SLGBTQI+, Neurodivergent, and Indigenous communities, and ensure that treatment is viewed from lens that considers both trauma and lived experience. Core values of the practice include ensuring patient autonomy and care, a love for on-going education, and the provision of a support environment for those employed. We are proud to have a team of health care practitioners and students who are passionate about the work they do, and the care they provide.
