Mission Statement To use and promote fashion as a means to better the lives of every Toronto citizen. Vision Statement All citizens will have the support and resources they need. What is Fashion Helps? Fashion Helps is a Toronto-based organization that facilitates support towards less fortunate communities by initiating programs and collaborating with local partners. Fashion Helps raises awareness and creates an opportunity for the fashion community and non-profit sector to come together. What we do We currently offer arts education to homeless youth of all diversities, we support mature students seeking an education in the arts, and we mobilize our local fashion industry by partnering with designers for fashion week involvement. *We have created new and innovative programs, extending from inception of an idea, through preparing and presenting persuasive curriculum plans, to developing and implementing the programs and providing the ongoing support structure *We have extensive experience in budgeting and in revenue generation for fundraising, including event planning, grants, and corporate sponsorship. *Fashion Helps works in both managerial and hands-on involvement to create successful publicity and promotional campaigns. *We hire exceptional volunteers, and have established highly productive and team-oriented work environments.
