A new chapter is unfolding with the new team at the helm and the master plan as its guide. The master plan envisions an unparalleled landscape of historic buildings, public art, and cultural attractions enhanced with community greenspaces and daily amenities, all designed to stitch the campus together with activities, connections, and collaborations to create an equitable, safe, and healthy place with multi-dimensional experiences at Fair Park. Phase 1 will have a profound impact on the surrounding communities through the 11-acre Community Park along with the 1.3-acre MLK gateway park, including historical and cultural restorations to iconic artwork throughout the Park.
