Overview

Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA), a non-profit organisation established in 2005 with representation in various Asian countries, has been providing a global platform for academy, industry and the Government bodies to come together and interact for mutual benefits in the healthcare sector. BioAsia, a global bio-business forum - the flagship event of FABA, has been organised in Hyderabad annually for the past 18 years. In addition, similar events are being organised in various countries by the country chapters of FABA. FABA Academy, officially launched on 19th February 2020, empowers the students in life sciences with career guidance and skill development activities. FABA Academy has conducted 33 webinars & 8 workshops, online and hands-on, on topics of interest to the academy and the industry. FABA Entrepreneurship, aimed at promoting the start-up ecosystem, was officially launched on August 18, 2022, with its inaugural event on Venture Capital - Biotech Startup Connect - Whale Tank, to raise awareness of big- ticket investments in health-tech startups.
