The European Youth Parliament (EYP) is a non-governmental organisation consisting of national committees and a central office. The major goals of EYP are promoting democracy, education, language skills and a European idea in Europe’s youth and it tries to achieve these goals by means of international conferences, regional fora or national events.The European Youth Parliament offers young people a platform on which to exchange their visions. Our conferences are extended parliamentary simulations including political debates. European Youth Parliament Austria is the Austrian National Committee of the EYP. Since it has been founded, EYP Austria has organised 22 National Conferences selecting delegates for more than 50 International Sessions and reaching out to several thousand students.
