Exemplar Health is proudly the successful consortium engaged by the Victorian State Government to design, build, finance and maintain the Bendigo Hospital Project. The Exemplar Health consortium consists of Capella Capital as sponsor, Lendlease as builder and provider of equity, Spotless as facilities manager and Siemens and First State Super as equity providers. Each market leaders in their own field and with considerable experience in the delivery of healthcare facilities and services. The new Bendigo Hospital is a multi-award winning and world-class regional hospital incorporating the latest design and technology solutions, in a tranquil and caring environment. The Bendigo Hospital Project is currently the largest regional hospital development in Victoria, the construction began in 2013 and Stage One of the Bendigo Hospital Project was completed in late January 2017. Stage Two is poised to be completed mid-2018. The new facility features 372 inpatient beds; 72 same-day beds; 11 new operating theatres; an integrated cancer centre and an 80-bed psychiatry services facility including a parent-infant unit. Stage Two will feature a helipad, link-bridge and a multi-deck carpark.
