Overview

We are a networked movement throughout Brazil that fosters a dialogue between diversity and Christian faith, promoting initiatives that bring human rights and the affirmation of a theology that proclaims a Christ of unrestricted love and grace. We understand ourselves as a ministry in the service of the Brazilian Evangelical Church, structured in an interdenominational way that in its plurality talks about the realities and challenges of LGBTI + evangelical youth and dialogues with initiatives and theological fronts in ecclesiastical structures of power. We move ourselves through the initiative and engagement of various actors carried out mostly by a Christian LGBTI youth and allied people who build and organize the movement. We have a National Coordination, composed of a plural team, representative and with guarantee of intersectionalities. We are currently represented by a full-time Executive and Missionary. In our structure, we have four pillars of action: Pastoral care - welcoming the demands of the reality of LGBTI + people who suffer violence and oppression in their evangelical faith communities and towards care with mental health professionals, personal mentors and groups of support; Formation and Teaching - encouragement and production of content that reflects the relationship with Christ from the experience of LGBTI + people and the composition of solid theological bases; Service and Diaconia - public awareness of the movement and of its members in activities of service to civil society and organized partnerships, as well as reflection on the practical manifestation of the experience encouraged by the movement; Evangelization and Dialogue - an understanding of the urgency of announcing a Christ of unrestricted love and grace, understanding that diversity is an expression of the creative character of the Trinity, as well as the dialogue of this Christ and that Kingdom with other expressions of faith.
