Overview

Europe Clean Energies (ECE) is a consolidated leading group of Japanese and Spanish Companies that develops and promotes Photovoltaic (PV) solar projects in Japan. ECE counts on an extensive track record in clean technology and renewable energy initiatives around the world, having acted as developer, promoter, EPC contractor (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and operator of solar parks, as well as sponsor of green power projects. As a global specialist, ECE covers all the stages of the renewable energy value chain, partnering with key players for the developing, designing, engineering, construction and operation & maintenance of the projects. The plants range from small rooftop installations to large ground mounted PV parks, as a result of the combination of market knowledge and experience creating turnkey solutions all over the world. ECE has developed over 110 MW under the 40 ¥ Japanese Feed-in Tariff scheme and over 230 MW under 36 ¥ one. Some of these projects are already being constructed and many of them are at the late-stage of their permitting development and will be ready to build in 2014. That success has turned ECE as one of the most important and fastest growing developers in the Japanese solar industry today. ECE is currently working on an extensive pipeline totaling over 500 MW of different kind of PV projects. The Company aims to develop 1,000 megawatts of solar farms in Japan until 2016.
