We are Euregio Campus – The cross-border knowledge region between Rhine and Meuse with the three cities of Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and Venlo! Our knowledge region is characterized by: • Universities with a wide range of interesting courses • Quality education and further education • Innovative companies at the top • A creative climate for innovation and smart start-ups • A high quality of living • Innovative research- and development projects The special feature of the German-Dutch knowledge region “Euregio Campus” is that it overcomes borders and tries to tear down the barriers associated with them. Education, research, work and life are to be thought across borders in the future. The knowledge region “Euregio Campus” was brought to life within the framework of the Interreg-project “euregio campus Limburg/Niederrhein”. The three main goals of this project are increasing the perception of Euregio Campus as knowledge region, to link the region’s two major universities by cross-border study course offerings, and to make the region more attractive as a place to work and live for students, graduates and qualified professionals. The project runs until December 2021 and is funded by the European Union, the country North Rhine-Westphalia and the Dutch province Limburg. The Hochschule Niederrhein in Mönchengladbach, the Fontys University of Appplied Sciences in Venlo, and the cities Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and Venlo, as well as the economic funding from Mönchengladbach and Krefeld are the project partners.
