Overview

Etgar aims to inspire a love of Jewish learning among 10 year old children, across 30 schools in the UK and more abroad. Over 1000 children participate annually in the UK; all spend the year learning from their own Etgar Handbook and come together for an exciting team-based competition at the end of the school year. A similar programme, Etgar Israel, was launched in 2018, teaching 14 year olds about the history, geography, politics and culture of Israel.
