Overview

Eternal Women’s Health is a specialist women’s health care facility primarily providing obstetric & gynaecology services. Our model provides collaborative, holistic, evidence-based care for the women and families of Hobart and greater Tasmania. At Eternal, Dr Tania Hingston and Dr Emily Price recognise that every person is unique, and every healthcare journey if different. By listening to our patients's story, we tailor care specific to individual needs. Working alongside our skilled and experienced midwives Alana and Imogen; Emily, Tania and the team at Eternal care for women - at all ages, and all stages. Dr Tania Hingston is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (MBBS (Hons) FRANZCOG). She achieved her medical degree with first class honours from the University of Tasmania (UTas MBBS Hons) in 1998, receiving the University Medal for the highest graduating student. Her initial obstetrics and gynaecology training was at the Royal Hobart Hospital, followed by three years in at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne. She obtained her specialist qualification (FRANZCOG) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2009. During her training Tania was awarded the RANZCOG medal for the highest mark in the O&G specialty exams in Australia and New Zealand. Dr Emily Price is a specialist Obstetrician Gynaecologist, and IVF & Fertility Medicine Practitioner. She attained her medical degree at Monash University in 2007 (MBBS). Emily trained as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology registrar at various hospitals in Melbourne (including six years at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne) and regional Victoria, before attaining her specialist qualification (FRANZCOG) in May 2017. Emily has completed her Masters of Reproductive Medicine (MReproMed, UNSW) and provides fertility medicine care to her patients (including IVF), in addition to general Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She is one of only three practitioners in Tasmania to have an additional fertility medicine qualification.
