We’re a close knit team at Esteban, with 10+ years of friendships and a hugely successful 6 years of operation at our sister restaurant - Tequila Mockingbird - we’ve created a fun, personal atmosphere that reflects the spirit and life of Central & Latin America. Beyond the great food and great drinks, we pride ourselves on the vibe the team brings and we can’t wait to welcome you to experience it for yourself! In the lead up to opening Esteban, Director - Michael, Executive Chef - John & Bar manager - Mark spent one month travelling through Mexico. The team spent the month in the company of celebrated Mexican Chefs and master Tequila & Mezcal distillers, the experience has played a huge part in shaping the Esteban menu. The food menu showcases authentic regional dishes and traditional Mexican cooking techniques, incorporating a modern Australian twist. Each element is made in house - including our soft corn tortillas made fresh everyday. We think there is something for everyone to love about Tequila, from sweet & citrusy Blancos’ to smokey, barrel aged Anejos’, which is why our drinks list features the largest selection of Tequila & Mezcal in Australia.
