Overview

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organization. Our mission is to represent international students, thus provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of ‘Students Helping Students’. At the moment, the network consists of 40 countries and 530 sections. ESN Wageningen is a local section of the Erasmus Student Network since 2007. The organization is led by seven board members and four committees. Every week, the planning is filled with activities to bring both Dutch and international students together. These activities vary from social, sports, to cultural and informative events. Characteristics of activities are for example the international kitchens, international student night but also the well-known excursions in- and outside of the Netherlands. Next to that, ESN Wageningen also focusses certain projects, such as the Buddy Program and Social Erasmus. These projects help integrate the students with each other but also with society. Lastly, ESN Wageningen moved to the Global Lounge this year, which is a building located on campus and a true international meeting place.
