The Economics Society, since its inception, has been functioning diligently to ensure academic excellence and intellectual growth of its students. The Society lays primary focus on academics interspersed with extra-curricular activities designed to bring forth versatility and sound perspective of students. Our Society allows its students to apply theory to practical scenarios supported by extra- curricular activities designed to bring forth versatility and application of concepts. This unique and impactful approach has delivered not just in form of superlative academic performance but also in their respective careers. Students of B.A (Hons) Economics have consistently given noteworthy academic performance in the semester examinations. Most of our students opt for higher studies and take admissions in highly reputed educational institutions like IIMs, Delhi School of Economics, JNU, Ghokhale Institute of Politics and Economics and many more. Many alumni of our Society have taken up faculty positions in the University of Delhi and other top government positions. Our Society has also been fortunate to have students who have become civil servants and members of armed forces, rendering their valuable services to the nation. Our Society follows a holistic approach in its teaching learning methodology by not only focussing on standard pedagogic tools of learning like lectures, tutorials, presentations but also by continuous mentoring of students.
