The EPFL Center for Imaging (ECI) brings together over eighty groups that perform world-class research in imagery, covering all scales from the atomic to the cosmological scale, and spanning a broad range of applications, favoring the reliance on the shared tools and ressources. It promotes interdisciplinary collaborations in order to accelerate discoveries in imaging and translate them to applications. This Center gathers the skills in imaging of the five schools of EPFL: Computer and Communication Sciences (IC), Engineering (STI), Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC), Basic Sciences (SB), Life Sciences (SV). The ECI also acts as a hub for the skills in image analysis and data management to cover the ever-increasing users' needs and provide support. The EPFL Center for Imaging works closely together with the various specialized centers of the region such as BIOP, CIBM, PIXE, CIME, DCI, Scitas or the Swiss Data Science Center.
