The Environmental Quality Mark (EQM) is an environmental award scheme that celebrates: - a passion for place and environment - how that passion is shared with customers We award the EQM to any business or organisation that demonstrates how they use and enhance their place in a sustainable way in order to increase the fulfilment of their customers. When we award the EQM, we look for a business or organisation to demonstrate: - how it runs a good, sustainable business or activity - how it reduces any negative impact on the environment - how it supports communities - how it influences customer behaviour, engagement and knowledge When you are awarded the Environmental Quality Mark, we are recognising that you’re proud of your place and that you are doing your best to reduce your impact on the environment.
