Overview

Since 2006, ENII organizes an annual, international, training and networking event (Summer School) for 120 PhD students and early post docs with a basic knowledge of Immunology. The guest faculty varies each year and is composed of internationally recognized leaders in their fields. In addition to the exchange of ideas, the goal is to create a lasting network for the next generation of researchers. ENII was founded in 1986, by 15 European Institutes devoted to research in molecular and cell immunology. Presently, the ENII Institutes are 38 Research Departments located in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. This number can be extended to other Laboratories or Departments. ENII aims to promote the quality of European education and research in immunology: Fostering scientific information exchanges by organizing Scientific Meetings, Courses, Schools and Workshops; Enhancing scientists exchanges and networking for post-docs and visiting scientists through its network.
