As energy costs continue to go up and student enrollment shifts away from most rural schools, Energy Association of Iowa Schools (EAIS) is here to help. EAIS is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that believes in helping Iowa schools proactively save budget dollars while providing safe and energy efficient facilities for learning. EAIS provides schools with unbiased, ongoing energy and radon coaching, training closer to home, and helpful rebate and grant connections. By teaching schools to save energy and test for radon themselves, EAIS helps schools refocus their limited budget dollars directly on student learning and safety. EAIS is the energy and radon champion for rural schools.
