Empower Women Veterans was founded in 2022 by Siobhan Cunningham to prepare military women to find new meaning in their service experience by sharing their stories to demonstrate their expertise to improve their credibility as entrepreneurs. Empower Women Veterans removes the top barriers that military women face when transitioning from Soldier, Marine, Sailor, Airman, or Coast Guard to Veteran. As a U.S. Air Force Veteran, Siobhan served as social work officer. She assisted hundreds of military service members and their families cope with severe mental health, addiction, and family maltreatment issues that could cause failure to complete the mission. Empower Women Veterans members to get direct access to tools and services that will help them overcome the three main barriers to entry for new online business owners: 💫 Culture Shock - Feeling isolated from your battle besties and missing some daily military life perks, like free gym access and automatic lawn care. 💫 Mission Confusion - As you take up more space and embrace your life's mission, deep-rooted beliefs make you want to pivot too soon and miss opportunities. 💫 Imposter Syndrome - Trade the military mindset for a CEO persona by learning from trusted mentors, experts, and thought leaders in entrepreneurship.
