Overview
Emma’s Torch trains, employs, and supports refugees, trafficking victims, and asylees in the culinary arts. Emma’s Torch invests in the potential of refugees and asylees, and helps set them up for successful employment in an industry where their culinary heritage can be celebrated. Each refugee who participates in Emma’s Torch receives culinary training, work experience as part of Torch Catering, and assistance with career placement. More than that, Emma’s Torch gives refugees and asylees a dignified way of injecting their cultural heritage and cuisine into the American melting pot.
