We are a firm of intellectual property practitioners, each having many years of experience in IP protection and management. We have offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Macau. Our experienced trade mark and patent attorneys deal directly with the Intellectual Property Offices in Hong Kong, China and Macau, and work with foreign associates with relevant Intelectual Property Offices globally. Our founder Ms. Emily Yip has been in intellectual property practice for more than 25 years She started her intellectual property career at a prestigious law firm with the largest IP practice in Hong Kong, was a co-founder of another partnership in the 90's and proudly founded Emily Yip & Co in 2000. Since establishment, we have been providing efficient and practical intellectual property services of high standard of quality to local and overseas clients. Over the years, we have earned trust and respect from both local and foreign clients. Supported by the considerable growth of the intellectual property needs of clients elsewhere in China, we have set up a representative office in Macau in 2001 and a branch office in Shanghai in 2005. Our Shanghai branch is managed by our resident partner Ms. Samantha Yip who has been practising intellectual property in China and Hong Kong for over 13 years and supported by experienced and qualified local trade mark and patent attorneys. In order to cope with our expansion, Mr. Melvin Li has joined us as a patent partner.
