A State owned company under the Brazilian Ministry of Defence, directly subordinated to the Commander of Brazilian Navy, with the following main tasks: a) To manage projects for Brazilian Navy Organizations, when contracted; b) To colaborate with procurement and maintenance of naval military assets, when contracted; c) To foster and promote the naval segment of the Brazilian Industrial Defence Base (BID - Base Industrial de Defesa)
