Overview

Elooi Laboratory is part of the Materials Engineering Department (MTM) at KU Leuven - Gent, Campus Rabot. Our research activities are aimed at gaining a better understanding of the performance of metallic materials using innovative techniques. This is done by devising new experimental testing methods and advanced numerical simulations. The main research activities at Elooi lab are: Impact, Fracture and Fatigue of Metals; Plastic Behaviour of Metallic Materials and Corrosion and Wear of Metallic Surfaces.
