eLighting is a proud South African Opto electronics company and LED Lighting testing facility based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Primarily focused on research and development (R&D), planning, designing, manufacturing and the distribution of electronic lighting products. The evolution of eLighting as a reputable solid state lighting manufacturer stems from its humble beginnings as a start-up home based business, which has grown into a state of the art manufacturing plant and testing centre. As an enterprise focused on stimulating local industry and production, eLighting currently produces in excess of 25 000 LED lamps per month with local content accounting for more than 60% of the finished product. eLighting’s core focus is on producing premium quality solid state lighting, which is affordable and competitively priced making the transition to energy efficient and environmentally friendly lighting a viable and sustainable long term solution. Our devotion to stringent testing and quality control has been key factor in establishing eLighting as an industry leader.
