Award winning sound editor and production sound recordist Brandon Goodwin was born into the world kicking and screaming in Greensboro, North Carolina in the mid seventies. And he’s been making noise ever since. At an early age Goodwin had access to band instruments and reel to reel recorders and was always intrigued by the improper ways they could be used to create sonic weirdness. These aural building blocks took him to the Recording Arts School at Full Sail University where he fell in love with the tools, techniques, trials and triumphs of sound for motion pictures. It was there that he began recording, mixing, editing and designing for any film that would allow his participation. He now works professionally in diverse areas of sound including feature films, documentary films, national commercial spots and long-format TV. The real diversity, however, lies in that he works on both sides of the production/post-production fence in every one of these areas. A barrier not frequently crossed in the film industry. After over a decade of employment and countless hours of mixes with two major post-production facilities, Brandon is now the owner of eleven sound production & post. eleven services both coasts with Location Sound Recording, Production Audio Mixing, Re-Recording Mixing, Sound Editing and Sound Design. He resides in Charlotte with his wonderful wife Jennifer and his two friendly dogs, Mica and Ray-Ray.
