Founded in 1998 by designer-engineer John Antonellis, Elevator Interior Design (EID) creates the finest elevator interiors in the industry. The company began manufacturing elevator cab interior components in a 6,000-square foot manufacturing space in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Driven by three guiding principles, use the finest materials, employ innovative design, and an unwavering commitment to quality, EID has maintained steady and rapid growth throughout the years. EID’s experienced designers and craftsmen combine state-of-the-art technology with careful hand-finishing to produce superior quality custom-fabricated elevator cabs and cab interior finish systems. The company’s versatile manufacturing operation and dedicated employees enables it to meet the needs of a broad range of customers from elevator companies such as Otis, Thyssen, Schindler, and Kone to contractors and end users. Growing from a small 8-man shop to upwards of 35 engineers and craftsmen using state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, the current EID office headquarters and manufacturing facility now located Lynn, Massachusetts, continues to grow and focus on its national and international markets.
