Overview

what we do? We help manufacturers in creating a high-quality prototype, we also work on small scale production of plastic parts. We use reputable additive manufacturing technologies (SLS, SLA) and Vacuum Casting technology Vacuum casting High-end part multiplication using vacuum casting of polyurethane resin in silicone molds advantages: • high surface quality • short implementation time • low costs • a large selection of materials • complex shapes amounts: from 5 pieces to 1-3 thousand pieces How it works? The production process starts from creation of the master-model, most often using the 3D printing method (SLA, SLS). After removing the supports and marks that appear from the printing process, we apply the appropriate surface structure. The model is then filled with silicone, then after hardening the model is removed from the silicone mold to which later resin will be poured perfectly reproducing the shape and surface structure of the previously made master-model. materials: For vacuum casting, we use two-component materials, most often polyurethanes. They can be hard or rubber-like with various strength parameters. In the production of prototypes, material is selected so that the parameters are as close as possible to the material that will be used in mass production. The color is obtained by adding the appropriate pigments. Master-Model and surface structure: Vacuum Casting is a replication method. That is why the master-model is needed to make the first mold, whose shape and surface structure perfectly reflects the silicone mold. Master-model is most often created using 3D printing technologies (SLS, SLA), CNC. Imperfections remaining after printing or milling are removed manually and then the surface structure is applied. A suitable surface is obtained by polishing or dusting paints with different structures, in case of homogeneous surfaces - structural foils can be used.
