EELU at a Glance EELU is a private non-profit University established to provide distance education through online learning anywhere, anytime. Vision To become the leading University in Egypt, Middle-East and Africa in providing quality education services and human resources development by using the most advanced approaches and techniques in e-learning. Mission EELU mission is to provide high-quality education and training services to supply labor market with ready industry workers capable to deal with advanced technologies, and to create and continuously improve teaching and learning environment. Educational Model • Distributed Learning: EELU has three learning centers located in Cairo, Delta (Tanta), and Upper Egypt (Assiut). EELU plans to cover all governorates in Egypt and Arab world. • Distance Learning: Students can remotely access courses’ materials, video lectures, and virtual classrooms through both the Internet and the EELU Intranet by using the most advanced approaches in e-learning. • Blended Learning: EELU adopts an integrated blended model that combines face-to-face traditional learning model with e-learning distance learning model. This permits students to have the benefits of both models. Educational Services Delivery • Lectures given by professors and delivered through the EELU video conference System. • Face-to-face classrooms given by teaching assistants and delivered in EELU learning centers. • Virtual classrooms given by both professors and teaching assistants and delivered through the Internet and the EELU Intranet. • E-courses prepared to support students anywhere, anytime through the Internet.
