Egypt Film Commission (EFC) is the only official party responsible for obtaining all approvals & shooting permits inside Egypt for foreign International production companies. EFC is a subsidiary of Egyptian Media Production City . and a one stop shop for all foreign production requirements from production services, equipment, professional staff and crew, in addition to distinguished production facilities to ensure a perfect and quick production phase for feature films and TV series. This is done in collaboration with the following concerned parties: (State Ministry of Information – Defense Ministry – Ministry of Interior – Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities– Customs Authority) EFC offers production incentives and rebate up to 30% in case of shooting within EMPC premises and using it’s facilities and equipment .
