Overview

EEESafe is an Independent Large Domestic Appliance Repair Standard along with UEEESafe, for Smaller Appliances incl IT products. Consumer demand wants to recognise a Repaired/Refurbished product is safe to use. They also say if a repair is going to cost more than 30% of a replacement appliance, they will purchase new. This doesn’t solve the EWaste Challenge, set to increase by 21% in 5 years, according to the UN. We support the existing repair trade and offer them an independent assessment of their competence, many of whom are likely doing a great job. DIY Repairers are now flooding the Used Product market under Right To Repair. This is a cause for concern for consumers and further demonstrates the need for a unified standard. We offer a Certificated Standard, and potential for a Qualification for the independent sector. We're built on 50+ yrs experience of training over 4000+ Technicians and running a Recycling Social Enterprise. Our goal is to establish a network of Regulated Community Repairers, accountable for Safety, Environment, Social & Educational impacts in our combined Brands. The planet is asking for change & Austerity and Economic Regeneration is high on the agendas of World Governments. We must build a Global Circular Economy (CE) Solution in Repair & Reuse through Electrical Waste Prevention and make all homes safer. EEESafe offers a Certified Repairers Scheme for White Goods Appliance and ICT locally based Repairers We operate the Free EEESafe Register Your Appliance for Consumers as well as Stakeholders. Certified Repairers and Stakeholders will be able to create Appliance Passports to link consumer and repairer. delivering multiple benefits and create funds from us for local citizens in need.
