Econolyst was a small 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing technology consultancy with big ideas and even bigger clients. We worked with companies all around the world looking for new ways of making products, from aircraft to F1 cars, from hearing aids to hip-implants. Our clients, who were both end-users and technology vendors, look to us to provide them with advice and knowledge on new and emerging additive manufacturing technologies and market opportunities. To keep at the top of our game, we were also involved in a number of long-term research projects focused on different aspect of Additive Manufacturing. Typical projects include the development of light-weighting software, web based carbon footprinting tools, and a knowledge based software solution to evaluation different AM processes based on part geometry. We sold Econolyst to the worlds leading 3D Printing technology vendor Stratasys in February 2015
