Overview

Eastbound Westbound // A Winemaker' story from Bordeaux and California A modern and fast-paced cinematographic documentary film - based on an original idea from Gerard Spatafora and Frederic Lot , directed by Julien Couson, screenplay by Frédéric Lot, Jeffrey Davies, Julien Couson. This documentary is conceived as an investigation, tracing the historical and unwavering links between the United States and the wines of Bordeaux! A friendship that we owe to Thomas Jefferson. He was ambassador to France before becoming the third president of the United States. To enrich this investigation, the documentary will also feature charismatic wine producers from Bordeaux who also make wine in California (Napa & Sonoma) along with Americans who make wine in Bordeaux. Chateaux's owners such as Prince Robert of Luxembourg, Alfred Tesseron, Claire Villars-Lurton, Gonzague Lurton, Denise Adams, and others will also help a lot to thrive the wine enthusiast audience worldwide. In addition, we also have an exclusive interview with Robert Parker and George Sape. Finally, Jeffrey Davies, (ex wine journalist and ex-wine merchant coming from San Francisco) will be the great investigator of this story.
