The Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County is a nonprofit planning and funding agency focused on early care and education. The goal is to prepare all children to enter kindergarten ready to succeed. We support school-age children in continuing academic achievement. The coalition achieves these goals in collaboration with community partners by providing: • Childcare scholarships • Florida's FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program for 4-year-olds • Training and technical assistance for childcare providers • Developmental, vision and hearing screenings • Resource and referral information for families looking for childcare MISSION STATEMENT Revolutionize early learning to inspire children, engage families, and elevate educators.
