Overview
EADI is a Europe-wide network of institutes, researchers and students of various disciplines in the field of development studies with over 150 member institutes in 28 countries of Europe. It organises activities and offers facilities for the international exchange of knowledge and experience in the professional field. Its most prominent activity is a General Conference devoted to a topical issue every three years. Coordinates online information services and publishes an academic journal, the European Journal of Development Research with Palgrave Macmillan. EADI operates an own accreditation council for graduate studies in the field of global, development and area studies, the IAC.
