Overview

Established in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("HKSAR") of the People's Republic of China ("PRC") in 1999, the E-Mice Group is a Greater China-focused software house that develops proprietary applications, offers software-based services and supplies related hardware products. The Group leverages in-house domain expertise in specific industry sectors to develop software applications that automate and stream-line work-flow processes to enable customers to reap significant operational efficiencies, cost savings and/or service level improvements. The E-Mice Group's software services are centered around the issue or use of digital certificates, being special software that enables secure, authenticated and/or legally-binding communications and transaction processing across open networks such as the Internet. The Group's subsidiary, E-Mice Solutions (HK) Limited, is the operator of all of the services of Hongkong Post Certification Authority ("HKPCA") under the terms of an out-sourcing contract granted by Hongkong Post, an entity of the HKSAR Government. HKPCA is an entity authorized by HKSAR legislation to issue e-Cert branded digital certificates. In addition, the E-Mice Group's subsidiary, ECERTS Products & Services Limited, operates a secure Internet portal on which e-Cert subscribers maintaining accounts with a designated bank can view outstanding payments due from each of them to participating merchants and give legally-binding and secure electronic instructions to such bank to arrange for settlement of such merchant invoices. ECERTS also commissions the development, adapts or sources hardware devices and products for use in its software applications or by its software services customers. To augment its operations in the HKSAR as well as provide it with the capability of delivering its applications and services on the Mainland, the E-Mice Group also maintains offices in both Guangzhou and Shanghai.
