Overview

The Dutch Chamber was established in 1991, as an initiative of a number of Dutch businessmen, with the objective of representing the wider Dutch business community in Hong Kong. Today, the Dutch Chamber has over 350 individuals and around 200 companies as member ranging from global market leading multinationals, SMEs and startups that have a stake in developing trade in, with, or through Hong Kong. The Dutch Chamber enjoys good relationships with the Dutch Consulate, Hong Kong government institutions and the city's other business groups. Dutch Chamber Membership advantages: A platform for useful contacts The Dutch Chamber’s dynamic platform serves to facilitate business in Hong Kong, Greater China and Asia-Pacific region for its members by providing networking, knowledge sharing and company profiling opportunities. The Chamber is also an active member of InterCham, the informal association of international chambers in Hong Kong, InterSME and InterWomen committee. Representation and advocacy The Dutch Chamber offers opportunities to make your voice heard. The Chamber is an active Member of the International Business Committee (IBC), chaired by the Chief Secretary of the HKSAR. Through our participation in the IBC, our members’ interests towards the Hong Kong Government are bundled. Furthermore, the Dutch Chamber is member of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, through which the specific European interests towards the authorities are voiced. The Dutch Chamber publishes a bi-monthly business magazine, a yearly business directory with all members details as well as a guide on how to set-up a business in Hong Kong.
