Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) is the most successful student organisation in the country and has come top of various student league tables for the past decade. Whether that’s being voted “best students’ union in Scotland” in the Times Higher Education survey, recognised as having “the best student nightlife in the whole of the UK” by Which? University or being identified as the cheapest place to study in Scotland by RBS Student Living Index – you can rest assured that you have chosen the right place to study. As a student studying at the University of Dundee you automatically become a member of DUSA. The Union is led by 8 annually elected executive officers who are responsible for the social, educational, recreational and welfare interests of all students studying at the University of Dundee. To put it simply, we’re here to add the fun bits to university life – the ones that you won’t find in books - and make sure you are staying safe, healthy, and happy while having a great time! The Union is situated at the heart of the campus, both literally and metaphorically. Unlike city centre bars and nightclubs, we’re a registered charity meaning that all the money you spend at The Union is reinvested in the wide range of pastoral services we provide for you. The eight student executive members can be found every weekday between 11am-3pm at The Hive on level 4 of DUSA the Union. Working closely with the University to ensure you have the best possible experience, they are also responsible for the overall management and admin of DUSA, liaising with the University at every level, running campaigns, creating opportunities for you to become more involved with the academic community and much more. DUSA is YOUR Union and we exist to ensure that you have the best years of your life here!
