Doxa Community Club

Overview

Doxa Community Club owns and operates two unique clubs in Melbourne CBD. Clocks (at Finders Street Station) and The Meeting Place (by Melbourne Central). Both venues offer comfortable and engaging environments for Members and the public alike to eat, drink and enjoy responsible gaming. Doxa Community Club was founded by Father Joe Giacobbe for one purpose, to provide funding, through the operation of our venues, to the Doxa Youth Foundation to finance their great work in the community. Doxa Youth Foundation provides programs which offer positive life experiences, education opportunities and employment pathways to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and schools across Victoria. The organisation was established in 1972 by Father Joe, who was then working with some of Melbourne's most disadvantaged communities. He decided to establish a camp at Malmsbury to give these young people a positive life experience, possibly for the first time. From its humble beginnings, hundreds of people have worked together to help make Father Joe’s dream of lasting change for disadvantaged young people a reality. Doxa Community Club is committed to the highest level of responsible service and customer care. We operate under the requirements of The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation and strictly follow our in-house Responsible Gaming Policy.
