Overview

Development of Ocean Technical Capacity with African Nations or DOTCAN, is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in Nova Scotia, Canada, with a Board of Directors coming from diverse sectors and backgrounds in Canada and West Africa. DOTCAN's vision is: Create a Pan-Atlantic network of individuals from business, academia, government and communities that share ocean-relevant knowledge, skills and resources to support collaborative and regional initiatives that create sustainable and equitable livelihoods. DOTCAN's Mission is: Cultivate and enhance technical capacity, through partnerships, to advance safe, secure, and sustainable Blue Economies.
