Defence Officer’s Housing Welfare Scheme(DOHWS) is a Scheme, functioning with an objective of promoting and facilitating welfare of Serving and Retired Armed / Defense Forces as well as Para Military personnel. The scheme and works on a NO PROFIT NO LOSS basis. Defence Officer’s Housing Welfare Scheme is a scheme established with the aspiration of nurturing the best interests and welfare of Defence Personnel’s and their families in any matter likely to affect them during or after their period of service. Housing being one of the prime concerns of every member of the desiderated Indian Armed Forces, is one of the main activities undertaken by DOHWS. We feel proud that our Scheme is working hard towards providing our members with best quality housing options in various cities. Due care and diligence is exercised in conducting a preliminary Demand Survey at various locations before finalizing to launch a project. All aspects including location, legal status, scope for appreciation, etc are taken into account to arrive at the best option for a project. Our Scheme and its executive members have been credited with planning, constructing and delivering many residential housing projects in the past. Presently a couple of housing projects of our scheme are under construction at Delhi, Lansdowne, Ranikhet and Jaipur. Being built with the best quality material under the regular supervision of experienced staff, the projects are expected to be delivered well within the committed time frames. I invite all serving and retired members of the Armed Forces fraternity to participate in the ongoing Demand Survey for new projects in the Delhi-NCR region as well as at Hill Stations. With the unflinching efforts being put in by our members, staff and associates, I firmly believe that DOHWS shall go a long way in fulfilling the aspirations of its members of owning a decent home as per their needs and budget in an area of their choice.
