ABOUT CRAIG DOHERTY Craig Doherty has been a member of the legal profession for more than 20 years both in Australia and Canada. Craig was one of the principals of an Australia-wide boutique business law firm with more than 120 professional and support staff. After selling the firm to one of its largest, publicly-listed clients Craig immigrated to Canada in 2004 with his family. New arrivals to Canada are faced, not only with the everyday challenges such as where to live and where to school their children but with the added difficulty of sourcing trusted, professional service advisers in the areas of law, accounting and finance. It was his own experience in arriving in Canada and having to form those professional, business relationships that convinced Craig that expatriate immigrants was a niche that needed servicing. He works with a network of professional advisers thereby ensuring that new Canadians have a proven business framework to utilize rather than having to “re-invent the wheel”. Craig’s clients include high net-worth individuals and businesses navigating the challenge of succeeding in their adopted Canada. He is admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Upper Canada. Craig currently serves as General Legal Counsel to Flight Centre Canada.
