Located in South West Wales, Dog and Bone Grooming offer a Dog Grooming Service centred around treating dogs as individuals. Initially set up to meet the high expectations of the owners, the business has grown and enjoys support from people who like to see their dogs groomed in an environment that is less stressful for both dog and owner. All the products used are naturally or organically based. The company centres on only having one persons dog or dogs in the grooming area at a time. The dogs only remain at the groomers for the time it takes to groom them, so they are not waiting around in crates. Well behaved humans are welcome to wait and watch whilst their dog is groomed. The company also offers a fully mobile grooming service, using a specially adapted vehicle to offer a full salon experience at customers homes. The Senior Groomer, Chris Elwell, has experience with grooming most breeds,as well as having had some success with grooming "difficult" dogs. He has 15 rescue and re-home dogs, qualifications in grooming as well as a BSc(hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. His Ethos for education for dog owners carries over into the business, and he is quite prepared to spend time with people to improve the welfare of their dogs Ashlee Williams holds an BSc in Animal Behaviour, as well as been an experienced groomer. She has been with the company four years and has also earned the respect of customers for the way she treats their dogs. Newest team member (but no less experienced) is Hanna who holds a C+G level 3 Diploma. She also has earned her share of five star reviews from customers
