Originally established as a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics provider) offering B2B/B2C distribution services to internet-trading / FMCG / Retail companies from two Heathrow warehouses to clients such as The Portman Group (later known as Drinkaware), Gucci, and UPS, and latterly providing a 4PL (Fourth-party logistics) service, planning, sourcing and providing customised logistics solutions/programs to clients that included the BBC. Re-located to Lincolnshire in 2007, from where Direct Logistics offered unbiased, objective consultant advice on Supply Chain, Materials and Logistics Management, and Interim-Management services.
