The office Dionysios Bonikos Arch+Design Studio was founded by Dionysios Bonikos in 2009 on the island of Zakynthos and consists of an experienced team of architects and engineers engaged in the design, renovation, interior decoration and construction of buildings. With over 13 years of experience, passion for design and deep knowledge of architecture, materials and construction, he strives to create unique living spaces. The office is based in Athens and Zakynthos and specializes in the design of high quality residential and hospitality spaces. Our goal is to establish a constructive relationship with each client so that we have a common vision for each project. We invest time, creativity and trust in testing alternative ideas and opinions for the best end result. We create crafted architectural experiences that are enriched by tradition, and materiality and inspired by contemporary life and place. Our philosophy is based on the logic that being an Architect is much more than just having a profession because 'Architecture' is life itself. Place, landscape, materiality, form, volume, intermediate space, thresholds, scale and transitions are concepts that concern us in design. We look for that 'golden thread' of creation in every project, we don't always move directly from light to dark, from the interior to the exterior, we always go through the intermediate space of architectural thought. It is about the creative spark that refers to the coupling of the thought with the dream through the common and the main, as Dionysios Solomos formulated it with a few words.
