Overview

The German Rubber Society (DKG) serves as a unique nationwide platform that brings together experts from the fields of research, development, and industry. As a scientific authority and driving force for innovation in the rubber industry, the DKG plays a central role in promoting knowledge and innovation in the field of rubber and elastomers. With over 900 individual members and a membership of more than 1000 companies from industry, research, and education, the DKG is a significant player. Through the organization of regular conferences, seminars, and meetings, the DKG actively contributes to networking within the industry. It not only serves as a platform for professional exchange but also supports scientific research. In regional groups, working committees, and at various events, members from all sectors of the rubber industry come together. Here, not only are current challenges discussed, but collaborative, practical solutions are also developed. Our primary goal is to promote and disseminate scientific knowledge in the rubber industry on a broad scale. The DKG encompasses the entire spectrum of the rubber industry, ranging from students to established professionals and high-ranking representatives from science and management.
