Since 1998 dgti (German Association for Transidentity and Intersexuality) offers support, counselling and networking for trans*, inter* and non-binary (tin*) people and other NGO´s and self support groups. We offer education and training for professionals in medicine, pedagogics, human resources management and employees. Trans*, Inter* rights and such of non-binary people are human rights, that´s why we are constantly in talks with politicians on the federal and federal state level in Germany. dgti offers the only registered supplemental ID "Ergänzungsausweis" (registered at BMI, the German Federal Ministry of Interior), This ID shows your chosen first name and relies on a official ID, linked by ID Number, last name, and birth date. Like a debit card, it´s acceptance is voluntary but steadily growing at banks, universities, etc.
