DeMicoli & Associates was established in 1984 taking over the expanding practice of Architect Ray DeMicoli. In the wake of the second wave of Hotel refurbishment in Malta in the 80's and 90's, the firm secured the design of several important projects in the hospitality trade. Today the office of DeMicoli & Associates has enriched itself by designing, constructing and project managing a diverse number of projects. The firm is still actively involved in the hotel industry but it has managed to diversify and attract residential, industrial, financial services, rehabilitation and the re-use of existing building and educational projects. The firm's hallmark is perhaps that it manages to create a balance of good architectural contribution without compromising practical or financial aspects. It is not an exaggeration to claim the firm's sound reputation is based upon often radical and visionary approaches. Design solutions put forth are not only spectacular but also profitable.
