As a holding Company, it controls 28 of 299 listed companies in the Colombo Stock Exchange. With its production and marketing facilities situated globally in over 10 countries including, The United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and Australia. More significantly, our organization contributes a staggering 1.5% of Sri Lankas GDP, It also contributes 3.5% of the countrys total export income, and 5% of Sri Lankas total tax revenue.. Furthermore, the parent company intertwines with numerous sectors including leisure, hotels and resorts, banking, finance, construction and pharmaceuticals. In regard to travel and tourism, Organizations leisure sector consists of Hotel/Resorts such as Amaya Resorts & Spa, Amaya Kuda Rah Maldives, which consists of 07 properties, The Kingsbury Colombo City Hotel, Fortress Resort & Spa, and finally the upcoming luxurious five star resort, consisting of 442 rooms, invested in a 16 acre land in Negombo, which is soon to be one of Sri Lankas largest Resorts. The founding Chairman of the Organization is Mr. Dhammika Perera, a prominent entrepreneur, investor and businessman with numerous achievements and corporate leader in Sri Lanka. Mr. Perera`s company was listed in The 2010 Forbes magazine for the best 200 Asia-Pacific companies.
